Our Research Objective

The Applied Fluid Mechanics Laboratory (AFM) focuses on the application of fluid mechanics principles to solve important industrial and biological problems.

Our Lab

Our lab equipment includes high speed computers, a particle image velocimetry system, highspeed video cameras, flowloops, and a windtunnel.

Our Location

The AFML is located in the UBC Pulp and Paper Centre in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada.
